Collection: FRENCH

1720 The French colonial empire was extensive but there were few settlers or permanent homes. Hipped roofs on homes were used to create shady porches. The double hipped roof became the most recognizable features of a French colonial home. Multiple French doors are also a wonderful feature of this architectural style, providing extensive views and easy access to nature.
